人類作為代課老師，向巴夏星球上的小孩（巴夏稱為培訓生）解釋地球上的種種概念。培訓生通過戴爾.安卡(Darryl Anka)用簡單的英語單詞和人類交流，他問了人類許多問題,比如：人類長什麼樣、地球是什麼樣、我們為什麼選擇來地球、什麼是時間、什麼是恐懼、什麼是憤怒等等。培訓生第一次接觸這些他們星球沒有的概念，而人類自己似乎也很難解釋清楚。
